The defibrillator is used to restore the heart rate. It is more common to use electrical defibrillation, which impinges on the heart with a certain amount of current, thereby terminating ventricular fibrillation. Generally speaking, 85% -90% of patients with cardiac arrest in the early stage are ventricular fibrillation, and the most effective way to treat ventricular fibrillation is to perform defibrillation. For every 1 minute delay in defibrillation, the survival rate decreases by 7% -10%. The unexpected sudden death is also called sudden death. Such patients can actually survive if they are properly defibrillated. It should be noted that after defibrillation treatment, the patient’s heart rate, heart rhythm, breathing, blood pressure, complexion, limb condition, and embolism should be continuously observed, and records should be made at any time.
